Members and their related data remain the bed rock of CMIS. It captures all biographical data of a member that is relevant to the church. It will enable the church to be part of activities such as birthdays, wedding anniversaries and other occasions that are dear to the heart of members. The church can use the system to automatically or manually send congratulatory messages to church members when such events are detected by the system. One key objective of CMIS is to build a complete church history for each member. The system will track each member from the very first visit, through membership classes, baptism, departmental activities, weddings, funerals (if the unfortunate happens), etc., as they happen.

Key features of this module include:

  • Store member details such as marital status, occupation, gender, date of birth and more.
  • Store information on ceremonies such as baptisms, weddings, and funerals.
  • Add and group members into families and relations.
  • Track the departments and special groups to which each member belongs.
  • Search for members by name, gender, nationality etc.
  • Perform intelligent data analyses on membership data

CMIS gives you the ability to track all financial activities of the church from a central point. It allows the church to keep detailed records of each contribution received - payment date, how much, from whom, for what purpose and many more. It will, amongst other things ensure secure management of all tithes and financial contributions. It makes it possible to store records on.

Below are some more features of the finance module:

  • Tithe Payments and Tithe Reports Generate tithe statements for members on demand.
  • Create unlimited number of categories for church Offerings (e.g. 1st Service Main Offering, 2nd Service Main Offering; Friday Service Offering etc.)
  • Track each offering category separately.
  • Track payments made by member towards any special church projects.
  • Track donations, pledges and other contributions.
  • Reconcile payments to banks with entries in the CMIS database.

Departments and special groups allow for the work of the ministry to be properly organized by function and attended to by focused groups of individuals. The activities of these groups must be monitored at all times. CMIS also makes it possible for mass communication or information dissemination to members.

Other features include:

  • Create and manage departments and special groups.
  • Store information on church members in department and their roles.
  • Store information on departmental budgets.
  • Generate reports on departmental activities.
  • Group / Department performance monitoring and evaluation.

The CMIS Calendar system automatically aggregates events or reminders that are noteworthy to the user. These could range from birthdays reminders through to meetings or appointments. This could also be used for events planning and reservation of meeting venues.

  • Creating and managing appointments
  • Central view point for all notifications on events
  • Reminders for meetings and resource allocations

The key decision makers need to able to gain access to relevant information instantly for decision making. The CMIS dashboard does just that. Critical information that needs monitoring or attention is brought to the surface without any work done on the part of the users. Reports such as department’s member list, monthly offering summaries, detailed member profiles and more can also be printed out with a single click.

  • Monthly departmental report
  • Summaries of church programmes attendance
  • Pledges and payments overview

CMIS makes it extremely easy to blast messages to a select of members. Be it pastors, departmental heads or all females in the church; any group of people can be filtered out and sent a message either through mail or SMS. This is particularly helpful when it comes to sending reminders for meetings or even birthday wishes. Notifications can also be automated. For example CMIS can be set to send birthday wishes to all birthday celebrants every day.

  • Schedule automatic messages
  • Advance filtering capabilities allows precise selection of any target group for message
  • Manually send ad-hoc message to any select group.
